Reads Like Murder in Kahala
She had just been thinking of Keoni Chase,
and as if by magic, there was the good-looking Polynesian/Asian cop, cruising up to the curb.
Top down on his Mustang convertible, he smiled
and waved as she enthusiastically waved back,
feeling her spirits soar. She probably looked like
a typical goofy tourist with a grin plastered
on her face and all but jumping in front of the car
to get his attention, but she didn't care.
What mattered was seeing Keoni again, so
quickly, so unexpectedly, and
so delightfully.
